N- Zinc

Composition: Each ml zinc sol. contains zinc sulphate monohydrate e.q to 5 mg zinc

Pharmacology: The importance of trace mineral is related to productivity & prevention of deficiency symptoms. As a trace mineral, zinc is a component of many enzymes such as carbonic anhydrase, alcohol dehydrogenase, alkaline phosphatase, DNA/RNA polymerase etc, which affects metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and nucleic acid. Zinc is a component of thymosin, a hormone, which regulates cell mediated immunity. It also affects luteal function. Normal growth and repair are dependent on adequate zinc. Zinc is probably related intimately to the process of cell division.

Indications:

In Cattle

  • Supports keratin formation, preventing hoof cracks, lameness, and skin lesions.
  • Boosts resistance against infections (mastitis, respiratory diseases, diarrhoea).
  • Improves fertility, estrus expression, and sperm quality in bulls.
  • Enhances feed efficiency, body weight gain, and overall performance.
  • Supports milk production and quality in dairy cattle
  • Promotes faster healing of wounds, ulcers, and surgical incisions.
  • Zinc is a cofactor for over 200 enzymes involved in digestion, metabolism, and hormone regulation.
  • Prevents parakeratosis, rough coat, hair loss, poor growth, reduced appetite, and delayed wound healing.

      In Poultry-

  • Supports bone growth, feather development, and overall body weight gain.
  • Prevents stunted growth and poor feed conversion.
  • Maintains healthy plumage, prevents feather loss and dermatitis.
  • Improves egg production, shell thickness, and hatchability.
  • Enhances fertility in breeders.
  • Boosts resistance against infections such as coccidiosis, respiratory diseases, and enteric infections
  • Essential for over 200 enzyme systems, aiding tissue repair and metabolic functions.
  • Deficiency causes poor feathering, perosis (slipped tendon), parakeratosis, low egg quality, reduced hatchability, and poor growth.
