Composition: Each ml contains Florfenicol 100 mg.

Pharmacology

Florfenicol is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibiotic which is effective against most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Florfenicol is a bacteriostatic antibiotic. It binds to the bacterial 50S ribosome unit to inhibit peptide bond formation and protein synthesis.

Indications

CRD, CCRD, Fowl Cholera, Fowl typhoid, Infectious coryza, E. coli, Salmonella spp., Haemophilus spp. and Pasteurella spp; Gram positive: Staphylococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp. and Streptococcus spp.

Dosage & Administration

Poultry: 1 ml for 1 litre water for 3-5 days.
Fish: 5 ml for 100 kg body weight.
